SkyWest Airlines Awards EAMS Maintenance Contract

Embraer, the Brazilian aerospace conglomerate which serves as a world leading manufacturer of commercial jets, has recently announced in Dallas, Texas at the MRO Americas show that SkyWest Airlines has chosen Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS) as the exclusive provider of heavy maintenance for their fleet of E175 narrow-body jets. SkyWest Airlines is a North American major airline which is headquartered in St. George, Utah and is owned by SkyWest, Inc. Under the contract, SkyWest Airlines will receive repair services as well as airframe modifications and maintenance from Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services for their Embraer fleet.

EAMS is a highly certified repair station with certification from several regulatory authorities from multiple different countries such as USA (FAA), Europe (EASA), Mexico (DGAC), Australia (CASA), El Salvador (AAC), Ecuador (DGAC), as well as Columbia (UAEAC). EAMS is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and has been performing basic inspections since 2008 with more than 1,400 inspections since then. Their facility features more than 2,800 different components for their repair capabilities and 11 separate hangar bays with more than 480 highly skilled technicians nearby.
