Bombardier Anticipates the Long-Waited Arrival of its Global 7000
The long awaited Global 7000 has finally entered the final stage of completion. The current progress of the aircraft is destined to obtain its type certificate during the second half of the current year. To date the aircraft has incurred over 1300 flight hours through out the testing period. Managing to complete what is known as fatigue testing to their full airframe of the FTV5.
The program includes an entire fleet but has one particular aircraft that has been modified for a different variation of the model. The modified aircraft FTV5 has been nicknamed “The Master Piece” while also being named the anchor of the entire operation.
The aircraft comes with a state of the art propulsion and aircraft system. Made with an entire four zone interior that comes configured with a production-representative flight control system. It is also incorparted with a extremely popular airborne wireless system known as the Ka- band data link.
The Global 7000 is compared to aircrafts such as the Gulfstream G650 and G650ER. The 7,400nm (13,700km) range of a Global 7000 with eight passengers sits between the 7,000nm range of the G650 and the 7,500nm range of the G650ER.
