Bombardier Receives Validation from U.S FAA

The U.S Federal Aviation Administration has approved Bombardiers CS300 and small CS100 for transportation. News was made explicit by Bombardier Commercial Aircraft division making it Official . This long overdue approval is an addition to their collection of approval such as Transport Canada, and The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

During recent tests that the FAA conducted it has announced that both aircrafts will share the same pilot type rating in both types of recently approved aircrafts. These instructions will allow for operators to be able to take advantage of cost saving opportunities.

François Caza, Vice President and Product Development and Chief Engineer and Head of Bombardier’s Design Approval Organization explains that, “These airworthiness validations by international authorities recognize the exhaustive process and excellent work done by Bombardier, in conjunction with Transport Canada, who awarded the C Series aircraft their original aircraft type approvals,”

Bombardier has a lot of confidence in their C class aircrafts to be a reliable selection for many jobs and be able to meet to their safety standards to be approved by the FAA. The C Series aircraft is typically a 100-150 seat airplanes that has opened new doors for their “single aisle aircraft operation.” The C- series is manufactured by Aircraft Limited Partnership which is known to be a subsidy of Bombardiers Commercial Aircraft segment of Bombardiers Inc. Due to these C Series Aircrafts, airlines have been able to access new grounds that were not profitable or possible at all.
